dotAtelier — April 01, 2007 — Animation of the inhabitants of different landscapes of eastern Australia. The music of this video is based on elements of the song of the butcher bird and mud wasps. Chunks of the bird's call and the wasp's buzzing are repeated, modified and compiled into a rhythmical whole. It is composed using methods developed at the dotAtelier event space - nature music - which enables the user to compose nature-music on-line using elements taken from the environment of Northern New South Wales, Australia.
